Luxe ONLINE DESIGN
(for1 room projects or projects not local to Washington, D.C. metro area)
Luxe Online Design service is perfect for those who would like to work with us and would prefer to manage the purchasing of selections along with the implementation of our design plan at their own pace. We will create a customized and comprehensive design plan for you guided by a detailed design questionnaire, one-on-one online communications, and detailed room measurements that you provide. Within 4-5 weeks you will receive a customized plan that, once implemented, will change how you experience your home.
turn-key iNTERIOR DECORATING
(for 2 or more rooms per project)
For a few select projects per year, we offer turn-key interior decorating. Turn-key means that we manage the design of your decorating project from beginning to end. This service is for spaces that don't require any structural changes. With a focus on finishes and furnishings, this service is perfect for the busy homeowner that wants a professional to take charge. We will provide design direction and full design administration on the creation of the ideal home through a curated, turn-key design plan
Decorative STYLING
(for 2 or more rooms per project)
Accessories are the adornments that can take a room with good core pieces from great to amazing. If you aren’t looking to replace or bring in any large furniture items, but your space is missing some spunk, this is the service for you. Through non-fixed décor items, such as table lamps, art, mirrors, decorative pillows, vases, frames, trays, baskets, coffee table books, plants, small occasional pieces and more, this service is the next step in elevating a home that’s right on the cusp of style.

We want your home to be a reflection of who you are. An essential consideration when looking for a designer or decorator is to assess whether images in their portfolio align with a home that you see for yourself. While we enjoy working with a variety of style preferences, our work tends to fall into a transitional category with a contemporary-glam emphasis that includes plenty of luxe accents. We like to encourage our clients to push their limits just a little— go for a bold color here and there or mix a few patterns to add interest. The cost of our services depends on the scope and size of your needs. We charge flat fees for our services, starting prices for each service we offer can be found on the specific page for each service. Start here. We can provide a more accurate estimate for your specific project once we see your space first hand. There are so many factors to consider such as square footage, how much furniture you need, whether you want custom pieces, if the work you need will require the hiring of subcontractors. While investments vary, it is important to have a realistic expectation of what can be accomplished with your budget. For Turn-Key projects, our goal is to provide you with a high quality, completely finished home which includes everything from furnishings, lighting, art and the smallest of accessories. Given that, as an example, you can expect a typical family room budget to start around $30,000-$50,000. For furnishings this might include:

Rug and pad
Coffee Table
End Table
Lamps
Console Table
Window Treatments
Wall Decor
Additional costs to consider are painting, wallpaper, millwork and labor (painter, electrician, carpenter, etc.,). Initially, these costs may seem a bit surprising, but if you were to add up what you may have previously spent on a room, you may find that you have come pretty close to this number in the past, just over a longer period of time. We take on a limited number of projects per year so it’s important to contact us as soon as you can to discuss your needs and our availability. We encourage you to contact us before any work has begun on any projects. Projects tend to run a lot smoother and efficiently when your designer is involved from conception, that includes before any construction has begun.

Generally, it can take about 6-9 months from ordering to installation, depending on scope. Sometimes the time-frame is shorter. In some cases, depending on the item (custom pieces) it may take longer. It also depends on the type of project. There are a lot of steps before we order, many of which rely on you (contract execution, email responses and design approval). Quick decision making on your part allows us to actively move forward. Another factor is the lead time on furniture. Furniture delivery can take a significant amount of time depending on customization and back-ordering.

We require that you plan for at least one entire room to be designed and completed by us from start to finish. We will work with existing pieces, particularly if they are meaningful to you. However, because our goal is to provide you with a fully cohesive space, we may need to discuss whether all of your existing pieces will truly work well in your new space.

All furniture items will be purchased by us from our network of design trade partners. These trade-only vendors offer us a unique selection of high-quality products with a variety of customizable options not accessible through larger mass retailers.

Aside from some initial “homework” of gathering inspirational images for our Lifestyle and Inspiration Meeting to help us narrow down the appropriate design direction, your role is to trust us and trust the process. While this process can be collaborative, we understand that your needs and desires are the #1 goal, so take a load off! You’re making an investment by working with us and we don’t take that lightly. You’re hiring us to create that beautiful, functional forever home that you desire, so we ask that you trust us to do that for you— we won’t let you down!
